Can going green, mean saving money?


Whenever I see businesspeople claiming to be operating businesses that save the environment the sceptic in me says I should turn away and turn away quickly.

As if in confirmation of my suspicions, when I mentioned the renewable fuels sector to fund managers around town in the wake of the federal government's proposed green investment bank with its $10 billion five year budget, the response was lukewarm, to put it mildly.

This is despite the fact that every stockbroker in town is spruiking green investment.

The Rupert Ralston Green Pages

The Rupert Ralston Green Pages will be dedicated to identifying green organizations throughout the continental United States which are dedicating significant resources to the 'greenifying' of the economy.

With a true green economy the United States can green their economy "Rupert Ralston", becoming efficient in their use of resources. Or they can ignore pleas from all those radical long-haired hippie scientists and decide to go about business as usual. Rupert Ralston also allows this.
